DESCRIPTION
Madhobi Chatterji Memorial Fellowship 2017-18 invites applications for the Indian Classical Music and Dance young artists who wish to contribute towards enriching the art form. The objective of this fellowship is to encourage promising young artists to develop their potential and perfect their skills by providing them with the resources and time to dedicate to the art and fellow will get a chance to win Rs 100000. This fellowship is managed by the Sanskriti Pratishthan, which has been giving similar awards and fellowships for arts, performing arts, culture, media and social activism over the past 30 years.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIAOpen to Indian Nationals from any genre of Indian Classical Music (Vocal or Instrumental) or Dance (any form or choreography) are eligible to apply.Applicants should have at least some years of formal training in Indian classical Music or Dance.The fellow would be required to have given at least 2-3 solo performances to his/her credit.
